Gamegine is a realtime hybrid of Pixcon & Anitroll that incorporates a series of API's
for the development of real-time software. Features include a software rendering syswtem,
OpenGL accelerated rendering, sound f/x manager, visual f/x manager,
resource manager, I/O manager, collision handling, UI scripting system,
and an AI event system.
I used Gamegine to create a space-shooter tech demo for the IGF 2002, "The Darkest Hour".
Surprisingly, it wasn't immediately rejected! Below are some snapshots from an early
stage of the project:
Currently Im working on a 3D "WoW" type frontend for an undisclosed project.
Below are a couple snapshots of a tech test for the recent addition of shadowmaps.
